Employers' determine the requirements for the internships and whether a student receives an internship offer. HighSchoolInterns.com does not place students in internships.

What is a cover letter?
A cover letter is the first thing that employers will see on the student. This is a document that represents the student and explains why he or she is applying for that specific internship.

Will students be paid for their internships?
HighSchoolInterns.com encourages paid internships, but compensation is not a requirement for employers to post internship opportunities. Each internship posting indicates whether it is paid or not paid.

What if a student is accepted to intern in a company outside their hometown?
Students are free to accept an internship anywhere that it may be offered BUT it is their responsibility to figure out how to get there, where to stay, etc.

How long is an internship going to last?
The length of an internship is at the discretion of the employer.
